Welcome to JapTap.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JapTap application and related services. By installing, accessing, or using JapTap, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the application immediately.

3 Eligibility

To use JapTap, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age.
Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

By creating an account, you confirm that all information you have submitted is accurate.

4 User Account

4.1 Registration

You may register a JapTap account using your name, email address, and password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access, please contact us immediately at support@japtap.space.

4.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings section of the application. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5 Permitted Use

JapTap is intended solely for personal, non-commercial spiritual use. You agree to use the application only for its intended purpose — tracking and organizing mantra chanting (Jap).

                Note: Any commercial use, resale, or redistribution of JapTap or its content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
            

6 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Use the application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content through the application.
Use the application to collect data about other users.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or server.
Share your login credentials with any third party.

7 Offline-First Application

JapTap is designed as an offline-first application. All spiritual data (mantra records, counts, goals, reports) is stored locally on your device by default.

Internet connectivity is only required for:

Account Login and Registration
Password Reset
Optional Backup and Restore
App Updates

8 Backup and Sync

JapTap offers an optional Backup & Sync feature that allows you to store an encrypted copy of your data on our secure servers for restoration purposes.

Backup data is encrypted and stored securely.
You may delete your backup data at any time from within the application.
We do not use your backup data for any commercial or analytical purpose.

9 Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and features of JapTap are the exclusive intellectual property of ESHOHAM FOUNDATION and Vxtry Infotech Industry Private Limited.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of JapTap without prior written consent.

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

JapTap is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

The application will be error-free or uninterrupted.
All data will be preserved or recovered in every circumstance.
The application will meet all your specific spiritual or personal requirements.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ESHOHAM FOUNDATION and Vxtry Infotech Industry Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of JapTap.

                This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, inability to access the application, or any interruptions to your spiritual practice caused by technical issues.
            

12 Privacy

Your use of JapTap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

13 Updates to the Application

We may release updates, bug fixes, or new features from time to time. By continuing to use JapTap after an update, you agree to the latest version of the application and its Terms.

14 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be communicated through application updates or notifications. The latest version of these Terms will always be available within the application.

Your continued use of JapTap after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
